Chihei-sen plot

Hideyo is a poor farm girl who is chosen as a mail order bride by the Japanese-American Yoshio. In 1920 she arrives in California and they get married. During the war, the couple and their children, like all Japanese Americans, are interned in a camp. Life is no fun there.
