Catharsis plot

Fourteen-year-old Naoki kills a girl and is sentenced to reform school. His relatives change their names and move to various locations where no one knows them. When Naoki is released after three years, his mother Towako gathers everyone to a remote island to help her mother in her last days. For the first time since the murder, all family members have been reunited. Kasumi, Naoki's sister stops talking after involuntarily seeing her brother's crime and his brother Subaru also suffers from trauma.
