Canción de Cuna plot

In a Castilian monastery at the end of the nineteenth century, on the same feast day of Saint Don José, the doctor finds out that the Mother Superior has a serious illness. At the same time, a baby is abandoned at the gates of the monastery. The doctor, who is unmarried, proposes that he legally adopt the child and have it raised in the monastery. For the sisters, the arrival of this child is a source of joy in life. But meanwhile, Sister Superior's health is deteriorating visibly.
