Cafundó plot

This film is inspired by the life of the man known as João de Camargo in Brazil's recent Afro-mythology. He has experienced slavery and, as a free man, he searches for answers around existence. Through a path of fear, he finds inspiration and eventually God. His vision of the world is an amalgamation of his own African roots and the glory of Judeo-Christian civilization. Because of his faith, he is able to perform miraculous deeds.
