Bordertown plot
"NOW HE'S A FUGITIVE FROM A FEMALE SCARFACE"
Johnny (Muni) looks for work and finds a job as a bouncer at a nightclub. Charlie (Pallette) owns the nightclub and his wife Marie (Davis) is immediately attracted to Johnny. But Johnny likes the society woman Dale. Johnny tells Marie that it is against his principles to have an affair with a married woman, and Marie decides to do something about it; she kills her husband and involves Charlie.
