Border plot

In a forgotten town where men have learned to survive by hiding their feelings and saying little, a broke young miner drifts quietly through a life he barely feels. His emotionless daily grind is broken by the arrival of an enigmatic young woman, who awakens a dormant curiosity and carries within her the promise of something new. He follows her along a dark path, leaving behind the silent safety of the only world he knows, not realizing that this stranger is not quite what she seems.
