"Never turn your back on family & friends"

When Doug Dooligan, a 19-year-old Aboriginal, is released from prison, he wants to live a life without crime. His best friend, Floyd "Pretty Boy" Davies, a petty thief and con artist, thinks otherwise. He wants to make the transition from car thefts and burglaries to the bigger job and can use his friend in that.
