Beijing Zazhong plot

A film about fact and fiction in the Chinese art world under the old regime, in a rapidly changing world. The film follows several protagonists: Cui Jian, the Chinese Bruce Springsteen, tries to organize a concert and is thwarted by the authorities and performance artists try to survive on the street. In addition, a young couple becomes estranged after a failed suicide attempt.
