Az Út plot

The 60-year-old Chinese Liu Zhixian emigrated to Hungary in 1990, along with a whole stream of Chinese immigrants. Like those tens of thousands of other Chinese, he hoped for a better life there. In China, Mr. Liu was a university professor, but for this anti-revolutionary, the Cultural Revolution was a disaster. In Budapest, he tries to forget not only the humiliations he had to endure, but also his loveless marriage to a country girl. In Budapest he now dreams about his great love.
