Faced with a personal and professional life crisis, the writer José Manuel Alcántara (Jesús Puente) flees Madrid to live in the coastal town of Gijon in the Spanish region of Asturias. He lives there carefree, until one weekend his young son (a rock singer), his former lover (a theater actress) and his best friend appear in Gijon and force him to face his fundamental failure once again...
