Solo plot

Andrew McAuley wanted to paddle from Australia to New Zealand in a simple kayak. A journey of sixteen hundred kilometers across the barren barren of the Tasman Sea. It survives storms, towering waves and icy nights until on February 9, 2007, more than four weeks after departure, it sends out a distress signal near the coast of New Zealand. "I'm sinking," were his last words.
