Maria has been working as a prostitute since her mother passed away 15 years ago. Her younger sister Catarina is a 17-year-old shy girl, who is attached to art and music. And she is her older sister's mistress. While Maria entertains her clients every night, living with her sister becomes increasingly difficult for Catarina. Catarina is only allowed to leave the apartment to go to her dance class. However, when Catarine falls in love with her dance teacher Giovanni, a battle erupts between the sisters for his attention.
