Amar a Morir plot

Alejandro Vizcaino is a young man with a rich father and it seems that he has everything he could wish for. However, his father is corrupt and determines Alejandro's whole life, how he dresses, what he eats and who he marries. He is suffocated by this situation and becomes so desperate that he enters a drag race, only to cause an accident. Alejandro is in shock, but is okay and flees the city. He ends up with a group of poor people who live on a beach and quickly becomes very popular. He has a crush on Rosa, the most beautiful woman he has ever seen and after a while they fall madly in love. But then it turns out that Rosa is being maintained by the local gangster El Tigre.
