A Boy Called Po plot
"Don't be afraid, daddy."
When David Wilson's young wife falls victim to cancer and dies, he is left alone as a working father. He now has to take care of the upbringing of his son, who is in sixth grade and has autism. Patrick, who likes to be called 'Po', is a gifted but challenged child who was very close to his mother and unable to communicate his own sense of loss. Father and son struggle with their lives now that mom is gone. They gradually begin to withdraw into their own worlds, which causes tension and sadness.
