The day after the Quebec uprising of 1837, eight hundred patriots are imprisoned in Montreal prison. Among them are about 100 death row inmates. In the early hours of February 14, 1839, Marie-Thomas Chevalier De Lorimer and Charles Hindelang learn that they will be hanged the next day.
