It started out promising but as the movie progressed I lost interest. I found the first part absolutely believable and completely captivated me as a whole. The second part about 9/11 became less interesting because it became more of a 'been there, done that' story. Have seen and read all of that before and not many new 'facts' came to light for me. I didn't like the 3rd part at all. Once people started talking about microchips, I was done with it, it all goes a bit too far for me and is all a bit too unbelievable. Too bad, despite the fact that I like conspiracy theories (don't believe in them, but I think it's nice to see the passion of people who are completely convinced of something), but in Zeitgeist it was often just a little over that limit, so it no longer credible but rather laughable.

Worthless.

It started well, with a nice intro and a fragment of the great Bill Hicks. Unfortunately, this 'documentary' soon turns very sharply, only to never come close to the track again. Zeitgeist consists for the most part of exaggerations, distortions, quotes taken out of context, even outright fabrication. It remains very fascinating to see how conspiracy theorists accuse people who don't go along with their fantasies of just assuming everything without investigating things themselves, while a little googling is enough to disprove most of the claims made here. Anyway, debunking all the questionable statements the film raises would lead me too far, luckily others have already done that. See for example here: Zeitgeist, the movie Debunked - Part One - Zeitgeist Exposed - Skeptic Project - conspiracies.skepticproject.com
