"A stunning visual portrayal of Earth"

200,000 years. Man did not need more to disrupt the fragile balance on Earth – the result of almost four billion years of evolution. Although the price to pay is high, there is no time for pessimism: we have only ten years to reverse the trend. Yann Arthus-Bertrand registered the world under himself in more than sixty countries. With these images he shows the beauty of the earth, the relationship we have with our earth and the danger our planet is in. He shares both his admiration and concern with the viewer.

Superb documentary about one of the biggest problems facing humanity recently, which makes you guilty and vigilant on the one hand and makes you fall in love with the overwhelming images on the other hand. In combination with fantastic music that adapts to the mood of the documentary, I think every film and documentary enthusiast will enjoy this, content or without content. That does not matter. Still, it does have a message and story, it's mainly all geography facts that don't mean much to me, and actually I knew everything, but still the summary and the tone in which it is portrayed is sentimental and poignant. I had my doubts at first, because it put a very negative emphasis on the switch from agriculture and that everything could be done faster and faster, but fortunately the documentary still managed to get something positive out of people so that it did not become too depressing and guilt-prone. became a struggle. As an activating goal, this is a very successful piece of work, with an above-average audiovisual effect and a power that makes me (even more) more aware. 4 stars and highly recommended. Going to watch Earth soon, maybe the positive character will do me even better

Sustainability... a matter for all

Sustainability is the word everyone has been using for the past few years. And it is indeed important. You can safely say that our consciousness is important for whether or not our civilization ends. Because when it comes to that, few will survive thirst, hunger, droughts, heat. Home is largely an unoptimistic state of affairs for our planet, and the narrator comes up with some horrifying statistics, but it's better to believe it's too late for us to act than to minimize it all. It's time to save what can be saved if we reverse the pattern of mass consumption and start producing in more sustainable ways. I thought Home would stick with the doomsayer. In the last five minutes, however, the documentary also shows a whole raft of changes (mainly aimed at renewable energy) that can make all the difference.

Arthus-Bertrand's images are unearthly beautiful. You keep yawning at that with your mouth open. Who doesn't want to save that unique beauty?

Especially very beautiful impressive images. In itself also a good story with positive changes that happen and possible solutions to the problem.
