Where Russia Ends plot

The Soviet Union posed as a champion of cultural and political independence for the oppressed of the earth. But in the meantime, like Tsarist Russia, it oppressed the native inhabitants of the vast steppes and permafrost of Siberia and the Far North. An essay that mixes fact and fiction about these inconvenient facts, with material from five recently rediscovered films by Kyivnaukfilm, the Ukrainian studio for popular science cinema and animation.
