Viimeinen Kesä plot

An immersion in the last slow and gruesome months of WW2 in Finland. The Winter War, between Finland and the Soviet Union, was short-lived. The Continuation War, in which the Finns fought alongside the Germans against the Soviets, was a different story. That struggle lasted for more than three years (June '41 - September '44), years in which the nation slowly bled out. It eventually took a political ruse to get Finland out of the misery. The documentary is a memorial service for years long gone and forgotten people.
