Van Afrika naar Assen plot

Inge returns to the Netherlands at the age of fifteen after living in Mozambique for six years. She had to say goodbye to her life in Africa: her house, the neighbours, her dogs and cats. But she has also been looking forward to her new life in the Netherlands. She bravely embarks on this adventure, with a different school, new friends and the freedom of cycling. Yet Inge soon notices that she is someone else here than in Mozambique. As best she can, she looks for a way to adapt to her environment while still missing Mozambique. What do you lose during such a big change and what do you gain?
