Un Dragon dans les Eaux Pures du Caucase plot
The oil pipeline being built between the Caspian and Mediterranean Seas is of great geopolitical importance. It will be 1780 kilometers long, of which 248 will run through Georgia, including past Sakire, a poor village with muddy roads and peeling houses. Without interviewing and without a voice-over, like an unnoticed bystander, Nino Kirtadze films the villagers who, especially outside in the street, discuss this unexpected clash with world politics. But the oil company also becomes nervous: the filmmakers sit in the car with the general manager of BP in Georgia and during discussions about the objections of the villagers.
