Their Eyes plot

How does a self-driving car distinguish between a sidewalk and a stroller? It turns out it's not the car itself, but thousands of workers in the Global South, who manually indicate remotely on their own computers whether something is an object or a person. At the same time, we see how much their own living environment differs from the endless stream of photos they have to mark.
