The Mars Generation plot
"Some dream of space, others dare to conquer it."
The film follows a group of interns, ages 15 to 18, at the US Space & Rocket Center. They are preparing to become the engineers, astrophysicists and astronauts of tomorrow. An insight is given into the architecture of modern space travel in the public and private sectors. The way the teens progress to become the new space experts reflects the development of today's space experts and prepares them for the most challenging expedition in mankind. In addition, it provides insight into the historical, philosophical and technological implications of becoming a multi-planetary species and shows that Mars is closer than people think.
