This investigative and demonstrative documentary mixes insights from philosophers, writers and journalists with the experiences of some residents of the Rust Belt in the American Midwest, where the steel industry once flourished, but where urban areas have fallen into despair after closure and outsourcing. This is precisely where Donald Trump's following is large, as Trump is not considered a member of the so-loathed establishment.
