The Corporate Coup d'Etat plot
"What if a worldwide coup happened and nobody noticed?"
A democracy must protect its citizens, especially the most vulnerable among them. And America is less and less successful at this. This investigative and demonstrative documentary mixes insights from philosophers, writers and journalists with the experiences of some residents of the Rust Belt in the American Midwest, where the steel industry once flourished, but where urban areas have fallen into despair after closure and outsourcing. This is precisely where Donald Trump's following is large, as Trump is not considered a member of the so-loathed establishment.
