The Alcohol Years plot

In the early 1980s, English filmmaker Carol Morley led a wild and unfettered life. Out every night, drunk every night and preferably a different bedfellow, man or woman, that didn't matter to her. Fifteen years later, she places an ad asking anyone who knew her between 1982 and 1987 to contact her. Her own memory of that unusual time in Manchester fails her and she seeks eyewitnesses. A number of friends and acquaintances appear in front of the camera to tell about Morley's past. The characterizations vary from deranged alcoholic to crazy nymphomaniac.
