Distressing but fascinating documentary provides a raw picture of daily reality for a number of homeless teenagers in Seattle. Created in response to an extensive article in Life magazine and rightly nominated for an Oscar, especially because the young people are completely authentic come across. Also special is the large number of interviewees who together form a cross-section of society and demonstrate that homelessness is not so much tied to class, but to problematic home situations.
