Power and the Land plot
Information film from the REA (Rural Electrification Administration), a division of the United States Department of Agriculture. In the context of FD Roosevelt's New Deal policy, the REA wants to encourage farmers to join cooperatives with the aim of supplying the countryside with electricity. The film shows the benefits of the arrival of electricity through the Parkinson's family in Warnock.
