Peace on the Tigris plot
Independent Japanese journalist Takeharu Watai went to Baghdad the day before the US invasion of March 2003. He was introduced to some of the people who had knocked down Saddam Hussein's statue, but the bombs kept falling. For ten years, the filmmaker kept friendly contact with the family and through them followed developments in the country. What has become of the members of this family? The tragic fate of these people shows the harsh everyday reality of war.
