Paradijs Glaswater plot
Marianne Schipaanboord is spastic and deaf and cannot speak. Because of her handicaps she lives isolated from the outside world, but her wonderful drawings testify to a rich inner world. Director Fifi Visser paints the picture of a woman with multiple disabilities who communicates through her drawings. By stepping into the skin of the main character, the viewer experiences how she fills in and experiences her apparently empty and completely silent existence. A small, but overwhelming story of the Zeeland countryside, where physical limitations were just a punishment from God not so long ago.
