For years, Pamela Anderson was viewed as a sex bomb and treated as public property. Now she's addressing her career choices, her treatment by the industry and the media, and her love life on her own terms. For example, she tells how she had to move on after the leak of her and Tommy Lee's sex tape. Archive footage shows her being harassed and humiliated by paparazzi, as well as newer footage of the actress and model in and around her own home, reflecting on her past choices. She tells her side of a story, not that it was very exciting but it was a pleasant viewing piece for me. The paparazzi didn't break her, even though they did all the effort in the world.....

Excellent documentary that shows a completely different picture of Pamela than you would have suspected in the past, given the way the media and the paparazzi surround her. A strong woman who had to deal with a lot of suffering in the past such as rape in her childhood, her career choices, many affairs, marriage problems and divorces. But especially the sex tape with Tommy Lee will completely throw her life overboard. A tape she didn't even want money for and also refused to put it on the internet. What makes this documentary good is especially the authenticity that Pamela radiates together with the old archive footage and her diary. In addition, her witty humor and self-mockery are particularly witty. Nice that Pamela has found her happiness in Canada with her parents together with her two children. 7/10

Too long but otherwise quite entertaining documentary in which Anderson talks surprisingly openly and honestly about her tumultuous private life and career. When the inevitable sex tape arrives, things start to get a bit bogged down in gloomy hassle and a lot of complaining, after which things don't quite get better, but until then the documentary has a lot of fascinating archive material and nice anecdotes. The last fifteen minutes, with Anderson on Broadway in the umpteenth version of the musical Chicago, should have been omitted as far as I'm concerned.
