Numbered plot
“Numbered” gives an intimate picture of the most poignant memories of the Shoah: the numbers tattooed on the arms of those who survived in Auschwitz - and only in that concentration camp. For the film, some of the Shoa survivors have been brought together. They tell their story, after which their name and number are shown. Three men, who stood in a row for tattooing as boys and thus received three consecutive numbers, have met again in the US. A daughter wanted her late father's number tattooed on her ankle, but had the wrong number put.
