New York - Batavia plot

Based on the correspondence between a Dutch East Indies civil servant and his wife, in the period from December 1945 to May 1946. He has been transferred to the Indies and she is staying with their three children in a hotel in New York, awaiting the moment that she can follow her husband. A moment that, given the circumstances in the Netherlands Indies, will have to wait a while.
