"So much more than a number."
This documentary takes a deep look at the lives of high school students in three radically different communities. This happens while they are performing a musical, until certain events throw their dreams and expectations upside down. Months before the 2019 college admissions scandal made headlines, students in Sacramento, California, were creating a new musical. They were all aimed at gaining admission to the same top schools.
