My Lost Country plot

The Iraqi theater director Mohsen Sadoon Yasin has spent a large part of his life in self-imposed exile. In her documentary, Ishtar Yasin Gutiérrez constructs a loving portrait of her father, which is also an elegy for a homeland to which there is no return. Because it has changed dramatically, and because it may have always been more of an idea than reality.
