Mischa Enzovoort plot

Band leader, composer and pianist Misha Mengelberg fell prey to dementia a few years ago. Cherry Duyns follows this icon of European jazz during a week of performances at the London jazz club Vortex, which, given his deteriorating condition, will certainly be his last performance abroad. The band members are preparing for the long-delayed farewell to Mengelberg, with whom they have played together for decades. Making music is like breathing for Mengelberg, but now that he is at war with his brain, the question arises how much longer he can play with his ensemble ICP (Instant Composers Pool).
