Mamacita plot
When he left Mexico for Europe to study film, filmmaker José Pablo Estrada Torrescano had to promise that he would one day make a film about his grandmother. María del Carmen Torrescano grew up in a troubled aristocratic family, then raised eight children of her own and built a beauty empire along the way, trying to convince Mexican women of the blessings of weight loss, massage and plastic surgery. During the conversations with her grandson, quite a bit of old suffering comes to the surface for the flamboyant, proud and dominant woman, who actually tolerates no contradiction.
