Magino Monogatari: Yosan-hen plot

Magino's silkworms are seen as the reincarnations of a missing princess and messengers from the gods. According to the story, the pattern on the caterpillars' bodies is similar to the hoof print of the horse that protected the princess. In this documentary, Ogawa and his crew capture the silkworm breeding process in great detail; from the spring birth, the selection of mulberry leaves for food, the repeated shedding of their skins to the cocoons they make in the fall.
