Ma Vie en Plus plot

Zackie Achmat is the leader of the TAC, the organization that fights for affordable AIDS medicines for the more than four million, most poor, South Africans who suffer from the disease. Zackie, homosexual and colored, has been a carrier of the HIV virus for ten years. Although he can afford them, out of solidarity he decided not to take any more AIDS drugs, as long as they are not available through the health insurance fund.
