Limelight plot
Owner of legendary clubs like Limelight, Tunnel, Paladium and Club USA, Peter Gatien was the undefeated king of the New York City club scene during the 1980s. Born in Ontario, Canada, he built and oversaw a kingdom of his own in Manhattan that could count tens of thousands of members each night. However, then years of legal battles led by Mayor Giuliani eventually forced Gatien to return to Canada and eventually give up his kingdom. With interviews with well-known players from the scene at the time and informants from the lawsuits against Gatien.
