Les Orphelins de Sankara plot

In 1986, 600 orphans and rural children from Burkina Faso are sent to Cuba to learn a trade, so that they can return to help develop their country, which is currently undergoing a revolution. But after the 1987 assassination of Burkina Faso's President Thomas Sankara, the winding down of the revolution by Blaise Compaoré and the end of the Cold War, returning, building lives for themselves or even just surviving has become a real problem.
