Latina, Latina plot

It begins with a phone call: an Irish geologist is summoned to Berlin because her father, with whom she has lost touch, has been hospitalized there. Once in his apartment, she discovers several diaries in which he recounts a car trip he took through Italy in the early 2000s, driven by an obsession with the architecture of the fascist era. Through her eyes, and his words, we are drawn into a meditation on historical memory and the aesthetics of an authoritarian built environment that continues to haunt us.
