Laïcité, Inch'Allah! plot
Nadia El Fani, a Franco-Tunisian liberal activist, conducted street interviews about liberalism in Tunisia and Morocco. These interviews were conducted during Ramadan and also before and during the "Jasmine Revolution". Freedom of expression is close to her heart. She takes on the discussions with courage and determination. Article 1 of the Tunisian Constitution states that Tunisia is an Islamic state. Why? Moroccan criminal law prohibits Muslims from eating in public during the day during Ramadan. Why? A liberal view of an Arab world in motion.
