Kontinuasom plot

Beti is a dancer born and raised in the Cape Verde Islands. She gets the chance to continue her career as a dancer in Portugal but is overcome by melancholy and doubt between a future on the islands or in Europe. It is a problem that every Cape Verdean struggles with: the desire to leave the islands and the longing for the homeland.
