Italy in a Day plot
Italians from all over the world give us a very personal glimpse into what October 26, 2013 looked like for them. An Italian astronaut, a commuter on his way to work, a skipper on the long sea voyage, a student or a doctor in Iraq. Filmed with a video camera, a smartphone, a photo camera or a tablet, they tell the viewer about their dreams and expectations, their fears and their reservations about the events of that one day. Or they simply show the view out of their window that day. The result is the video diary of an entire nation, a 'social movie' that looks deeply into the souls of the Italian people and by extension, human beings.
