In Tijd van Oorlog plot

Documentary about the aftermath of the Second World War, which begins with a reconstruction of the events on Dam Square in Amsterdam on 7 May 1945. From the balcony of the Groote Club, German soldiers suddenly opened fire on the crowd of partying Amsterdammers. Authentic photo and film material from, among others, the Nederlands Filmmuseum, the Imperial War Museum and the Bundesarchiv, is interspersed with dramatized fragments.
