Im Land der Wölfe plot

We know the (evil) wolf from fairy tales. It is a fear that has been culturally instilled in us for hundreds of years, disconnected from any reality - because there were no wolves in Western Europe anymore. Now they are coming back, sparsely in the Netherlands, but in Germany for longer and more numerously. The social animals have now conquered places for themselves throughout the country, in the scarce spaces that humans leave them. This documentary follows several people who keep a close eye on the wolf population – scientists, conservationists, sheep herders.
