Ich Bin Enric Marco plot
Enric Marco, ex-president of Spain's most important organization of camp victims, sets off for Germany by car on a demythologizing journey into his past. Two years earlier, a historian has shown that he was not the resistance fighter he claimed to be and that he had simply made up the stories about his camp experiences, which he had also told on television. Now Marco is following the route back from the train journey he made in 1941 as a member of a contingent of workers sent to Hitler by Franco. The journey and the film end at Flossenbürg concentration camp: the place he never lived in during the war, the place from which he derived his false identity as a survivor; an identity he just can't let go of.
