Because the film gets bad reviews and flopped in the cinema, I didn't have high expectations. And then what happens to me? Then the movie is okay. The girls may have been annoying, but so are most girls in real life at that age. Bit rebellious, experimenting with booze, drugs, boys and girls. That's part of it.

I also thought the locations were beautifully filmed. Coincidentally, there was actually snow. Or was that CGI? I can hardly imagine.

In the end, when you know who did what, you get a little tossed about who to sympathize with and who not to. That in itself is not wrong, because we are used to thinking in boxes and it is also good to look at a situation from all perspectives.

So overall in its genre not done wrong. It is of course not a profound cinema (art) film. Or a super thriller at a high level. But the movie isn't bad at all.

No great expectations for this movie, but it was still not too bad. I thought it was a nice setting in the snow.

The cast did not do a bad job and the story could still fascinate, although it was not that special.

The ending was kind of meh... didn't really get wild about it.

Fine film for a lazy day, but it is not a masterpiece.

I was a bit triggered by the trip to the Ardennes. It's also what keeps the movie going. Atmosphere and surroundings are certainly successful with the threatening forests, snow and night scenes. The old country house itself certainly had its charms.

In terms of content, I found it a bit less, although I found the plot quite pleasant to follow. As so often you see that the close bond of a group of friends is often just a layer of varnish. The girls may be beautiful appearances, but in terms of acting I thought it was mediocre. I also found the mutual chats more of a letdown than an added value.

Nothing is what it seems in this movie. No Michael Myers and it took me a while to realize that. Film with clear potential, but which in my opinion was not achieved enough.
