A woman and a man are sitting on the couch and contemplating their relationship. He feels empty. She feels rejected and wants to be surprised. He says: 'You should also let things go.' She does not know that Dutch expression and becomes recalcitrant. In response, she speaks Finnish. So, he's sitting! The woman is the director herself, the man her husband-composer and creator of the soundtrack. A loose montage of images from her ten-year marriage shows playful happiness, the joy of the children and exhausting worries. Now the smallest discomfort can be a source of argument that must be resolved in therapy. 'In making this film we share our intimacy with the world, but we have not been able to share it with each other,' Soppela says somewhere. "Or are we just getting started?" "Yes, a lot has happened," her husband says. The irritations provided the raw material for a song.
