Het Zaad en de 11 Eitjes plot

Gay couple Dennis (28) and Lody (25) would like a child. Their wish to have children can be fulfilled if a niece offers herself as a surrogate mother. She would love to bear a child for her cousin, but not a child from her own egg. The wishing fathers therefore have to look for an egg donor and a clinic that is willing to help bring about conception. Julia von Graevenitz follows for a year and a half how Dennis and Lody, together with their surrogate mother, try to make the impossible possible. The film is a poignant report of the long road between hope and disappointment of a gay couple with a desire to have children.
